Pay Rate : $90K-$100K

Job Description Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to support our Maintenance Manager in overseeing the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment within our industrial plant and warehouse. This role ensures the smooth operation of utility systems and the continuous production process. The Maintenance Manager Assistant will direct and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, either personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Review job orders to determine work priorities.
• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery, tools, and equipment to maintain continuous production operations.
• Coordinate activities of workers involved in the fabrication or modification of machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture or improve products.
• Direct maintenance activities on utility systems to ensure a continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program in collaboration with engineering and maintenance staff.
• Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports to plan and adjust maintenance activities as needed.
• Inspect machines and equipment for conformance to operational standards.
• Plan, develop, and implement methods and procedures to improve operations, reduce costs, and optimize labor and material usage.
• Collaborate with design engineers to discuss equipment needs and modifications.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies for maintenance operations.
• Lead the training and indoctrination of workers to improve performance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Work with management, engineering, and machine operators to resolve maintenance issues and recommend improvements to operations and equipment conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
