Key Responsibilities :
PLC Programming & Troubleshooting : Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs to control machinery and manufacturing systems. Troubleshoot PLC issues in both production and operational settings to ensure minimal downtime.
Automation System Design : Design and implement automation solutions that meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. Work with a team to define system specifications and ensure proper integration of all system components.
System Debugging & Optimization : Perform diagnostics on automation systems, identify root causes of failures, and implement solutions to optimize system performance. Ensure all automated processes operate efficiently and with minimal disruption.
Project Support : Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion. Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation upgrades, driving initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime through technological advancements.
Technical Documentation : Maintain clear, accurate documentation for system designs, PLC programs, troubleshooting steps, and any modifications to the automation systems.
Collaboration & Training : Work closely with operators, maintenance teams, and leadership to ensure systems are well-understood and properly maintained. Provide training to junior engineers and technicians on automation best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
