Job Summary
Sterling Engineering is seeking a skilled Electrical Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automated blast, paint booth, man-movers, cleaning systems, welding units, infrared drying ovens, programmable controllers, comfort heaters, boilers, air compressors, and mobile equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating moving parts.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems in a fast-paced production environment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Install new equipment and modify existing equipment as needed.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in electrical equipment repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
