Overview
Sterling Engineering is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. This role involves performing maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment in our manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facility equipment, including pumps, presses, valves, fans, and safety machine guards.
- Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance duties to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Source replacement parts, materials, tools, and spare parts as needed.
- Maintain CNC and related machine shop equipment.
- Assist in building components for major plant projects and maintenance tasks.
- Operate and maintain forklifts and overhead cranes as required.
- Maintain spare parts inventory.
- Troubleshoot and maintain engines, conveyors, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of industrial electro-mechanical experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical ability.
- Experience with electrical systems up to 480-volt 3-phase.
- HVAC experience a plus.
- Experience with PLC's desired.
- Machining experience helpful.
