Title: Electronic Technician

Location: West Columbia, SC

Hire Type: Long Term Contract - Part Time hours (Friday-Saturday 730 am - 530 pm)

Salary: $25-26/hr.

Misc: This role is 100% on-site

General Purpose:

Conducts Failure Analysis in electronic products at component and system levels to get to the root cause of the failure in order to diagnose PCBA´s and increase the Technical Knowledge.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Analyzes circuits and topologies to identify marginal failure root causes.
• Performs Failure Analysis for customers and suppliers as required.
• Develops, maintains and improves all troubleshooting solutions within area or responsibility.
• Drives recovery actions/repairs of the Test process Failure Inventory.
• Assists with the fabrication and development of new equipment, fixtures and test programs.
• Assists engineering and the development labs with all new product introduction and development.
• Supports and facilitates Debug or Technical training process.
• Drives recovery actions/repairs of any test or burn-in process that is down.
• Sets-up the Test Equipment.
  
  

Experience:

• Typically requires a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent experience and training. In addition, typically requires 1 year related experience.
