Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes that meet our quality standards and business objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them grow professionally and contribute to the success of our organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to address these issues.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and manage CAPEX budgets to ensure that we have the necessary resources to implement new manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in discrete manufacturing process environments.
- Expertise in assembly, CNC machining, sawing, testing, heat treating, annealing, and bending of various metal shapes, welding, fabrication, and materials (HRS, CRS, SS, aluminum, brass).
- Lean Manufacturing experience, solid root cause analysis, and critical thinking skills.
- AutoCAD/DraftSight and SolidWorks expertise, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Plant layout and product flow understanding.
