3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Hours: 10pm to 6:30am, M to F

Location: Swedesboro, NJ

Pay Rate:$90K-$115K

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and empower our 3rd shift maintenance team in a high-paced food manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork—driving performance and supporting professional growth through hands-on leadership and strategic planning.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and schedule maintenance work based on production needs, PMs, work orders, and team resources.
• Oversee contractor work and ensure project timelines and safety protocols are met.
• Keep detailed records of repairs, rebuilds, and inspections.
• Train, coach, and motivate your team—fostering development and accountability.
• Utilize the CMMS system to manage and track maintenance activities.
• Lead root cause analysis on downtime events and recommend long-term solutions.
• Monitor and report on KPIs to track and improve team performance.
• Audit PMs and work orders to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate cross-shift maintenance activities and capital projects.
• Ensure facility and grounds are maintained per safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
• Assist in policy development related to maintenance and safety.
  
  

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of production equipment, PMs, and repair procedures.
• Basic understanding of PLCs is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
• Prior experience in maintenance within a food processing or automated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems is a plus.
