Job Summary:

Job Duties:
- Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, case formers, labeling machines, fillers, and conveyors.
- Utilize welding techniques (stainless steel, MIG, TIG), fabrication skills, and machine shop equipment operation.
- Program and diagnose issues in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems and control wiring.
- Improve equipment performance through meantime failure analysis, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, operational maintenance, and production equipment setup.
- Execute and refine preventive maintenance procedures based on manufacturer and engineering standards.
- Continuously assess and adjust maintenance protocols to minimize downtime and enhance production efficiency.
- Maintain physical assets to ensure operational reliability, maximize line efficiency, and optimize costs.
- Monitor equipment performance and develop proactive maintenance strategies.
- Identify potential major repairs, replacements, and capital projects to improve long-term operations.
- Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components in machinery.
- Offer technical support in electrical and control system areas.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic components, including expertise in using diagnostic instruments.
- Experience with photo eyes, sensors, and limit switches.
- Ability to work with high precision and minimal tolerances.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond efficiently.
- Technical degree, accredited apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a technical field (preferred).
- Availability for various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
