Why You’ll Love This Role :
We’re looking for an Automation Technician to join our team on 3rd shift. This role is critical to maintaining high-speed production where every 7 seconds, a board is produced. You will need to solve problems quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure continuous system operation.
What You’ll Do :
- Maintain continuous operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation / robotic system components.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on systems and components.
- Ensure that robotic and support equipment receive routine preventive maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams for complex automated systems.
- Collaborate with the automation team to qualify new systems.
- Train technicians and operators on equipment, processes, and products.
- Record procedures, results, and recommendations for improvements.
- Properly use power tools and measuring equipment with a strong focus on safety.
Type of Machinery You'll Work With :
This role does not involve SMT machinery. The focus is on high-speed automation, and problem-solving is essential for keeping operations running smoothly.
