The ideal candidate will oversee
projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and performance
goals are met while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop custom automation systems, including mechanical
components, machinery, and integrated solutions tailored to client needs.
• Manage all phases of automation projects, including planning, execution,
monitoring, and closure, while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget
constraints.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders to define project
requirements, specifications, and deliverables.
• Perform technical analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure system reliability,
efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and third-party services, ensuring
quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, electrical, and software teams to integrate
mechanical designs with control systems and automation software.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and team
members.
• Prepare detailed project documentation, including design drawings, reports, and
user manuals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to maintain progress
and client satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental
guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical design, automation, or manufacturing
engineering.
• 2 years of project management experience, preferably in custom automation,
machinery, or robotics projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering
simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of automation technologies, including robotics, PLCs, and
control systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent
organizational and leadership skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team
collaboration.
• PMP certification or similar project management credential is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement
methodologies is an advantage.
• Occasional travel to client sites or vendor locations may be required.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
