Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design projects from concept through production, ensuring all components adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
- Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for various projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet design requirements, budget constraints, and project deadlines.
- Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring effective integration of mechanical aspects into the overall project plan.
- Perform in-depth analysis and testing of mechanical systems and components to validate design performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in design reviews, providing valuable insights and recommendations based on engineering principles and industry best practices.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope, reporting progress to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in mechanical design and project engineering, ideally in the heavy equipment or machinery industry.
