Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to drive critical engineering tasks and ensure project success. Responsibilities include full equipment documentation, project leadership, manual preparation, and support for manufacturing and field services.
Essential Functions:
- Document equipment, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and customer specifications.
- Lead projects from order to shipment, handling drawings, BOMs, and customer correspondence.
- Prepare and modify operation manuals and spare part lists.
- Support Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Field Service with documentation and technical information.
- Provide engineering consultation during proposal development and customer presentations.
- Review products for cost-effective design and material selection.
- Assist in designing and overseeing engineering databases and procedures.
- Perform shop inspections of large equipment before shipment.
- Assist with field service as needed, troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 years' experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Experience in industrial instrument and heavy equipment design/engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD (Solid Works and ACAD) and MIS Office Suite.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
