What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mold Maker position at Sterling Engineering?
1st shift, 6AM-6PM, 2 / 2 / 3 rotating schedule
Position Purpose : Maintain all tooling and support production with mold repair / maintenance operations.
Responsibilities :
- Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety
- Interact with engineering, production, and tooling staff when troubleshooting molds
- Identify solutions to complex molding and mold problems as they pertain to injection molding manufacturing.
- Create work orders for the service of all molds and maintain records as required.
- Coordinate the implementation of solutions for needed repairs.
- Verify molds are production ready; advise production and engineering of condition of molds.
- Train others in the operation of equipment in the Tool Repair department.
