What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Supervisor position at Sterling Engineering?
This role will oversee the operations of the Contract Services Team, which includes optimizing the team’s systems and processes as well as handling escalations with customers and contractors. This person must be proactive, organized, and an effective communicator. The candidate does not need to have an engineering or technical background but should be willing to learn and retain relevant troubleshooting skills. Day to day responsibilities of the team include coordinating service appointments with customers, and dispatching
HVAC field contractors to perform preventative maintenance, chiller start-ups, chiller replacements, or emergency service.
Responsibilitie
Keep a pulse on team operations and propose process changes to improve efficiency and team organization
Manage escalations with customers and contractors
Partner with IT to implement new tools and system improvements
Review monthly reporting to monitor trends with contract service
Project manage Turnkey chiller installations
Oversee contract renewals to ensure we are maximizing our contract capture rate
Educational/Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
Project management experience preferred

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
