Job Description:
The 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical or electrical trades and possess strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence
- Troubleshoot and repair complex systems to minimize downtime
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Train and mentor maintenance team members to enhance skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports to inform decision-making
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical trades preferred
- Experience in processing, packaging, and building utilities a plus
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in temperatures of 40°F or less
