Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Cicero, IL | 100% onsite
Hire Type: Long-term Contract (Immediate Benefits)
Salary: $25-30/hr. based on experience

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst for a leading refinery in Cicero, IL. This is a great opportunity to work with a very well known company within their space.
Job Duties:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics and dashboards.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and inventory teams to improve supply chain operations.
- Conduct cost analysis and support cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend inventory optimization strategies.
- Assist in supplier evaluation and performance analysis.
- Develop forecasting models to predict inventory needs and demand patterns.
- Support the implementation of supply chain technology solutions (ERP, SAP, etc.).
- Participate in process improvement projects and recommend best practices.
- Perform bulk scheduling and material scheduling/planning to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, or logistics.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (SAP, Oracle, Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong Excel experience (no need for advanced formulation, V-lookups, or pivot tables).
- Experience with production planning is a plus.
- Desire to learn and grow within the department.
