Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative with a knack for understanding mechanical products and a passion for building customer relationships. This role blends technical knowledge with sales strategy to help drive business growth and provide outstanding customer support.
- Leverage technical knowledge to understand product capabilities and customer needs.
- Proactively research and manage sales leads from business directories, web searches, trade shows, and other channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships by identifying customer pain points early and offering tailored solutions and product recommendations.
- Manage new and select existing accounts and distributors, gaining full ownership of accounts after the first successful sale.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer service teams to prepare quotes and identify cross-sell or up-sell opportunities.
- Plan and lead engaging product presentations, including virtual “lunch & learns” and new product rollouts, to educate customers and grow account activity.
- Provide responsive, knowledgeable support to accounts owned by the outside sales team, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Validate online orders, handle customer outreach for clarification, and assisting with online product inquiries.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least 3 years of manufacturing industry sales experience required
