!We are seeking a Universal Banker for our Clinton branch location. This role serves as the Customer Ambassador for Sterling Federal Bank, and they provide efficient and quality service to customers. They are responsible for conducting teller transactions and cash vault transactions in an accurate and timely manner as well as providing sales and servicing of all bank products and services. Providing operational support and exceptional customer service while maintaining essential controls and safeguards is also an essential part of the responsibilities

.Precise Roles, Tasks & Responsibilitie

• sReceives checks and cash for deposit to savings and checking accounts, verifies deposit amounts, examines checks for endorsement and negotiability, and posts transactions into bank records via an on-line terminal.
• Cashes check and pays money from savings and checking account upon verification of signatures and customer account balances
• .Troubleshoots and resolves customer and internal inquiries in a timely, professional and accurate manner.
• Informs and advises customers of status or enhancements to current account productivity and suggests resolution on account disputes and other account activity
• .Understands bank products/services and the customer's current relationship, offers information on bank products and services that can benefit the customer and enhance their banking relationship.
• Evaluates the needs of potential customers and offers appropriate financial products and services

• gProvide support for branch operations as neede

dRequirement

• sSix months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in prepatory positions, 2 years' preferre
• dA high school degree is require
• dCourtesy and tact are essential elements of the jo
• bExcellent written and verbal communication skill
• sProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferre
• dAttendance and reliability are crucia

Hour

• sAvailable to work 7:45 - 5 Monday through Thursda
• y7:45- 5:30 Frida
• y7:45 - 12:30 Saturday, half day off the week that a Saturday is schedule
