As a Floating Maintenance Manager you will:
- Coordinate with Regional Directors/AVPs to recover site needs and address them
- Communicate with site leader to work being accomplished
- Leader to on-site maintenance staff in diagnosis of problems and repair in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance
- Ensure all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds are completed according to established procedures
- Possess and exhibit the ability to develop others, coach and counsel, assess and hire talent and administer progressive discipline fairly and consistently
Reports to: Property Manager and is a leader to all on-site personnel in the maintenance area
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License required
- Ability to travel frequently
- Technical School preferred, High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field
- Excellent interpersonal relations, communicative skills and a customer-focused service orientation
- Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building trades
- Own and use basic and tools, as well as utilize basic computer programs to perform tasks
- Proficient in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills
