As we continue to grow and expand our impact, we are seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead our operations and manufacturing with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and scalability.
Position Summary
The Vice President of Operations will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, ensuring Greenbridges manufacturing and engineering operations align with our long-term growth strategy. This position will have oversight of multiple sites across the U.S. and globally, ensuring operational alignment and efficiency across Greenbridges international footprint. This individual will oversee production, engineering, safety, quality, and customer service, ensuring best-in-class operations.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturingpreferably in sustainable materials, plastics, or packaging. They will streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and build a high-performance culture while ensuring continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability remain top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a strategic operational roadmap to support Greenbridges growth and sustainability goals.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to set operational priorities, streamline processes, and drive performance improvement.
- Lead Manufacturing and Engineering operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality production.
- Drive the adoption of Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Identify and implement technology and automation solutions to improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency.
Manufacturing Optimization
- Oversee multi-site manufacturing operations across the U.S. and globally, ensuring facilities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Drive operational improvements in quality, cost, and delivery, ensuring continuous enhancement of customer service.
- Oversee capital projects related to plant expansion, new production lines, and automation implementation.
Financial & Performance Management
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure efficiency, cost savings, and quality improvements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and capital investments, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, and local operational requirements.
Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, ensuring leadership succession planning.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all sites.
- Drive employee engagement and workforce development initiatives to retain top operational talent.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between operations, finance, sales, and R&D to align goals and improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Experience & Skills:
- 10 years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing or operations management (preferably in plastics, packaging, or sustainable materials).
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading multi-site operations across the U.S. and globally and scaling manufacturing functions.
- Demonstrated success in reducing costs, improving quality, and increasing efficiency.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, and operational forecasting.
- Background in safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements for manufacturing environments.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sustainable manufacturing, recycling, or green technologies.
- M&A experience and integration of newly acquired operations.
- Understanding of data analytics, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- MBA or advanced degree in Operations, Engineering, or Business is a plus.
