What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food & Beverage Hospitality Manager position at Sterling Hospitality?
We are seeking candidates for the role of manager who can provide a warm, friendly, cheerful & genuine experience to all our guests by delivering exceptional service and world-class hospitality.
Great hospitality, chef-driven food and an elevated bar program are at the heart of what we do. This role exists to be the restaurant leader in every aspect of our operations with a focus on FOH operations. Being the leader, you must be able to interact effectively with team members and to be the local champion of the “hospitality first” vibe in your restaurant.
The manager reports to the market partner and/or General Manger and holds responsibility for the overall results of the restaurant front of house and event management. As a result, in addition to the personal, functional and leadership responsibilities, this person must possess general management skills, including, but not limited to, people skills, understanding of the financial statements, the ability to manage expenses, shift management, bar management, catering, special event setup, and event management.
What You'll Do:
- Works with employees to maintain “World Class” Service and Hospitality standards
- Select, develop, train and validate all team members
- Maintain a fun and professional work environment grounded in our values, guiding principles and promises
- Prepares a plan of continuing education
- Ensure all team members are current and up to date with reviews
- Accurate weekly inventories completed on appropriate day and time
- Keeps invoices organized and coded to the correct categories
- Establishing bar par levels, maintaining operational expenses and controlling supply expenses
- Plan special events, set-up caterings, develop drink specials
- Help with menu development

- 3 years similar experience
