What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Analyst position at Sterling Infrastructure, Inc.?
The Treasury Analyst will be a valuable member of the company’s corporate Treasury team who will assist the Treasurer in managing corporate treasury and cash management functions. As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial operations and ensuring the efficient handling of cash flow. The candidate should also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Position Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash balances and prepare the Daily Cash Position
- Execute cash management activities such as wire transfers and ACH payments on various bank platforms
- Prepare and process bank deposits
- Process stop payment/voids, positive pay and ACH exceptions
- Assist with management of bank and financial institution relationships
- Respond to inquiries about bank transactions received
- Manage online users on the various bank platforms
- Month-end close activities for Treasury
- Manage and document all treasury department processes
- Review monthly bank analysis statements for errors and cost savings
- Provide support for treasury-related inquiries and projects.
- Assist in all internal and external audit requests.
- Interact closely with banks, legal, and other internal stake holders to open, close, and maintain bank accounts.
- Support the ongoing corporate cash management function in projects and process improvement efforts.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience & Skills)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate with varying levels of management
- Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work, take ownership and succeed in a rapidly changing environment
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office (high level of proficiency in Excel)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Knowledge and understanding of banking portals.
