Join us!OVERVIEW : Responsible for providing legal guidance across a broad range of commercial matters, including contracts, consumer-related matters, risk management and general business operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Commercial Contracts and TransactionsDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, supply agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements, and NDAs.Provide legal guidance on structuring commercial deals, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Assist in developing and improving contract templates, policies, and processes to drive efficiency and scalability.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal business teams to optimize contract terms and mitigate risk.Commercial and Consumer AdvisingReview and advise on a wide range of consumer-facing documents to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Advise on and mitigate potential consumer risks for existing and new products or business.Assist in developing and improving company policies and procedures.General Legal SupportProvide day-to-day legal guidance to business teams on a variety of legal issues.Manage outside counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS : 6 years experience handling a broad range of complex commercial matters or 3 years strong experience with commercial contracts and transactions. In-house experience is preferred but not a requirement.Experience in partnering with business teams to mitigate risk while supporting business goals.Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with business partners and legal team.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.Excellent analytical skills to identify potential legal issues proactively and develop practical solutions.TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICS : Demonstrates a high level of trust and integrity under strict confidentiality and discretion.Professional and positive persona with strong business intuition.Comfortable working independently, making decisions, and anticipating needs.Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines.REQUIREMENTS : Education : Juris Doctor requiredMinimum of 6 years experience handling a broad range of complex commercial matters or minimum 3 years strong experience with commercial contracts and transactions.Licensed attorney in good standing; active status in minimum of one state; admitted to practice in one or more states.
