What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager position at Sterling Management Group?
We are looking for a property manager for a mix use residential/commercial building. The residential side is a OHCS/EB property, knowledge of HUD/LIHTC, section 8 rentals and paperwork are required.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Issue monthly invoices
- Collect and deposit rents
- Read water and electric meters
- follow-up with tenants on unpaid balances
- Generate leases and oversee move-ins and move-outs
- Oversee routine maintenance/minor repairs
- Advertise/show available spaces
- Arrange for and oversee service vendors
- Proficient with Microsoft software/email (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Walking the building daily and noting issues throughout
- Respond to tenants, owners, vendors and sterling staff in a timely manner
