Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice on Fort Stewart. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while performing a variety of dental procedures. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper dental hygiene.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
- Administer local anesthesia and manage patient pain during procedures.
- Execute dental extractions and other surgical interventions as necessary.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
- Document patient records accurately using Dentrix or similar dental software.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry techniques for treating younger patients.
- Experience with dental extractions and oral surgery procedures.
- Familiarity with general dentistry practices in a clinical setting.
- Ability to perform medical imaging for accurate diagnostics.
- Expertise in prosthodontics for restorative treatments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
