What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Sterling Pointe Apartments?
The Perry Management organization owns and operates multiple apartment complexes. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician at our Sterling Pointe Apartment community to help maintain them.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and when needed replace HVAC equipment. HVAC experience required.
- Pool maintenance experience required.
- Paints the interiors and exteriors of apartments in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Performs work order requests from property staff and residents.
- Addresses resident maintenance issues and repairs by responding to them promptly, efficiently and professionally.
- Ensures all work areas are neat, clean and orderly after painting or when work orders have otherwise been completed.
- Performs property inspections so as to ensure the grounds are clean as well as to identify any problems.
- Communicates with Property Manager regarding the status of work and other issues as they arise.
- Responds to on-call phone when scheduled and performs emergency maintenance work when required.
- Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness and alerts the Service Manager to items that need to be repaired.
- Ensures excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants and promotes a quality living experience for all residents.
- Participates in Company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
- Complies with all company health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws
