Sterling Search Partners is helping a growing construction firm with its search for a Project Manager. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our general contracting team, you’ll manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and ensure quality standards are met, all while maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of construction projects: planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Source, schedule, and manage subcontractors and vendors.
- Maintain compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and make real-time adjustments to schedules and costs as needed.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues or risks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5 years preferred) in project management within the general contracting or construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- OSHA certification and PMP or similar credentials a plus.
