We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to efficiently input, update, and maintain information in our company databases and systems. The ideal candidate has excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter data accurately and efficiently into databases, spreadsheets, or systems
- Review data for errors, missing information, or inconsistencies
- Update existing data and correct any errors
- Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Prepare and sort documents for data entry
- Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
- Generate reports as needed
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software
- Fast typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
