Responsibilities :
- Material Procurement : Oversee and manage the sourcing of materials, ensuring that suppliers meet quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost targets.
- Inventory Management : Maintain optimal inventory levels, track material usage, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Warehouse Management : Oversee the storage and organization of materials, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective storage solutions.
- Supplier Relations : Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to materials.
- Forecasting & Planning : Work with other departments (e.g., production, planning) to forecast material needs based on production schedules and sales projections.
- Quality Control : Ensure that materials meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Team Leadership : Supervise a team of inventory clerks, warehouse workers, or procurement staff, ensuring high levels of performance, training, and safety.
