Sterling Search Partners is helping a client with its search for a Senior Guidewire Policy Center Business Analyst. As a Senior Guidewire Policy Center Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading and executing the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Guidewire Policy Center solutions within our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders from business units, IT, and other teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, as well as facilitate the development of technical solutions to meet business needs. You will leverage your expertise in insurance policy administration and Guidewire to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and workflows.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and analysis sessions to gather business requirements for new projects and system enhancements.
- Document and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
Guidewire Policy Center Implementation:
- Provide expertise and best practices for implementing Guidewire Policy Center modules.
- Assist in the design of system solutions to align with business needs and the Guidewire framework.
- Support the configuration of Guidewire Policy Center, ensuring that system functionality is tailored to meet business requirements.
- Define and document use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for testing.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing processes and propose optimizations within the Policy Center to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Work with the development and testing teams to ensure that the designed solutions align with business goals.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Coordinate with the testing team to create test plans, test cases, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, working with the technical team to resolve them.
Training & Support:
- Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on the functionality and features of the Guidewire Policy Center.
- Offer post-implementation support and continuous process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on insurance core systems (Guidewire experience is a strong preference).
- Proven experience working with Guidewire Policy Center or other Guidewire products.
- Strong understanding of the insurance policy lifecycle, including policy administration, underwriting, and claims.
