Essential Functions:
- Identify and target potential clients within the manufacturing, logistics, and construction industries. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the benefits and value of our offerings.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensure a seamless experience from initial contact through to order fulfillment.
- Track sales activities, prepare reports, and analyze performance metrics.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to help shape product development and improvement.
- Consistently demonstrate commitment and support for the Sterling vision, mission, policies and procedures.
- Performs work in compliance with work instructions and policies as outlined by management.
- Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, customer-centricity, and compliance.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to support departmental needs and overall business goals.
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years' sales experience in the lumber, manufacturing, or related industry is preferred.
- Experience with value-added products is highly desirable.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Familiarity with dunnage, hardwood lumber, custom skids, and lagging products is preferred.
- Understanding of the lumber manufacturing process and industry standards.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, Microsoft NAV Dynamics.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
