Job Summary of the Production Superintendent : The Production Superintendent will oversee staff, and coordinate and monitor operations during the night shift.

Responsibilities of the Production Superintendent :

• Recruit, train, and manage employees to maintain a skilled workforce.
• Monitor and optimize the production process by adjusting variables, ensuring quality control, and identifying cost-saving measures.
• Create and manage production schedules, assign tasks, and address any issues or delays that arise.
• Maintain and enforce organizational standards to ensure high-quality service and product output.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and evaluation of new technologies to ensure smooth operations.
• Compile and analyze production performance records and data, and provide relevant information to stakeholders.
• Improve systems and procedures by assessing current practices, control mechanisms, and resource needs, and implementing necessary changes.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by identifying and addressing potential safety and health hazards.
• Contribute to team goals and objectives by collaborating with colleagues and achieving desired outcomes.

Qualifications of the Production Superintendent :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Industrial Engineering; Industrial Technology : Supply Chain; or related fields.
• At least 6 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record of implementing continuous process improvements.
• Ability to effectively supervise and manage 10 or more employees with a high level of control over their activities.
• Experience overseeing the operations of two or more departments.
• Act as the direct representative of the Director of Operations during the night shift.
