About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR Tech) for a 13-week contract in Prescott, AZ. This role involves assisting surgeons and surgical teams in cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile operating environment, and managing surgical instruments and equipment efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Prepare operating rooms for cardiovascular surgeries.
✔ Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
✔ Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments.
✔ Monitor and maintain surgical equipment and sterile fields.
✔ Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.
✔ Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in the OR.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT.
✅ Minimum of 1-2 years of CVOR experience.
✅ Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
Preferred:
✔ Experience in open-heart and vascular surgeries.
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
✔ Familiarity with cardiovascular-specific surgical instruments and procedures.
