Seeking an experienced Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) for a 13-week travel assignment. Join a committed team in a high-functioning chronic renal dialysis unit where compassionate care and technical expertise are top priorities.
Dialysis Technician (CHT) – Day/Evening Shift
Location: Williston, ND
Start Date: 05/19/2025 |
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shifts: Variable Days/Evenings (Mon–Sat, rotating weekends & holidays)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Prepare dialysis equipment, mix bicarbonate solution, flush RO systems, and check water quality
- Initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis treatments
- Cannulate access sites (AV fistulas/grafts), obtain lab specimens
- Administer hemodialysis-related medications including saline and heparin
- Maintain dialysis machine operation and cleanliness
- Monitor patient vitals and dialysis parameters
- Restock supplies and assist with station prep
- Perform routine water system and machine maintenance per protocol
- Assist nurses with patient assessments and documentation
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in chronic dialysis required
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA preferred)
- Certified Hemodialysis Technician
- ND UAP Certification
- Travel Experience: Preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
