Job Summary

As an ER RN, you will be responsible for providing urgent and emergency care to patients in the emergency department. You will assess patient conditions, administer treatment, and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care.

Duties

• Triage and assess patients upon arrival in the emergency department, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Provide emergency interventions, including medication administration, wound care, and stabilization of patients.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide the best care for emergency patients.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
• Follow all infection control protocols and emergency care guidelines to ensure patient safety.
• Respond to critical situations quickly, efficiently, and with professionalism.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department or urgent care setting.
• Experience with emergency procedures, trauma care, and critical care patients.

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Travel Housing Rate
