Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Arcata, CA
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $74 - $78 per hour
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Arcata, CA. Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Perform rapid assessments and interventions in acute, life-threatening situations
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Document all patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Active California RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience (recent and relevant)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
