Shift Schedule: 8 Day shifts (6am-2:30pm) & 2 NOC shifts (10pm-6:30am)
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $57/hr on W2
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN LTC to join our healthcare team in Mauston, WI 53948 in 13 week contract. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including nursing homes, urgent care facilities, and emergency medicine environments. The LPN will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of healthcare services, ensuring patient comfort, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including when applicable.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with laboratory tests and sonography procedures as needed.
- Perform catheterization procedures and maintain proper documentation of patient care.
- Support patients in daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in nursing home settings or critical care environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and emergency medicine practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform urgent care tasks effectively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
