Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Med/Surg
Location: Waterloo, IA
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical/Surgical team in Waterloo, IA. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking to gain experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
- Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and monitoring vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in Iowa (or compact state).
- BLS certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
