About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care LVN for a 13-week contract in Grass Valley, CA. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a specialized wound care setting, providing essential treatments to patients in need of advanced wound management.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Assess and provide wound care treatments based on physician orders.
✔ Apply and change dressings, compression therapy, and wound vac therapy.
✔ Monitor healing progress and document patient conditions accurately.
✔ Educate patients and families on wound care management and prevention.
✔ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
✔ Maintain compliance with facility protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted California LVN license.
✅ Minimum of 1 year of wound care experience.
✅ Current BLS certification.
Preferred:
✔ Wound care certification (WCC, CWCA, or similar) highly preferred.
✔ Strong attention to detail and wound assessment skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse patient needs.
