Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and ensuring patient comfort during the process. The Phlebotomist will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals in a hospital or laboratory setting to provide high-quality care.

Work Schedule:
- Shift Length: 8 hours
- Shifts: Primarily 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, with possible night shift coverage from 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM starting after 5/8.
- Weekend: Rotating weekends required.
- Holiday: Must be available for holiday coverage.
- Call/Standby: No call required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy on adults, children, and newborns (heel stick).
- Work with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department (ED) patients.
- Collect blood samples and handle specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Utilize Epic and Beaker systems for tracking and documentation.
- Provide high-quality service to patients while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Valid WA State MA-P License at the time of submittal.
- Proficiency in Epic and Beaker systems.
- BLS Certification.
- 2 years of Phlebotomy experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy on various patient age groups, including newborns.
- Preferred:
- Previous experience with hospital draws, inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings.
