Shift: Days (Tuesday – Saturday), 8-hour days
Start Date: 04/28/2025
Shift & Schedule
- Days: Tuesday–Saturday
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, every Saturday (inpatient only; approx. 2.5 hours of work)
- Floating: Yes (first to float if needed)
- Holiday Requirement: As scheduled by facility
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a PTA
- Licensure: Valid CA license (Required to submit)
- Certifications: BLS
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on patient care and rehabilitation techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques to enhance recovery, ensuring understanding of medical terminology.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings, including outpatient clinics and skilled nursing facilities, to develop effective care plans.
- Maintain BLS certification and adhere to safety protocols during patient interactions.
