Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dialysis RN to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct outpatient nursing care to patients in the Dialysis Unit, while prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care within the unit. Job Duration: 12 weeks
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of outpatient dialysis experience required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Must have a current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required or must obtain within 8 months of hire.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain knowledge of AAMI, CDC, KDOQI, and Network 15 requirements related to dialysis units, water systems, infection control, and best practices.
- Complete the department equipment check-off list and demonstrate competency on all department equipment. This competency is maintained on an ongoing, annual basis.
- Assume the role of Primary Nurse for assigned patients and take responsibility for their care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the dialysis unit.
