We are currently hiring an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse specializing in Electrophysiology for a 13-week contract assignment in Tacoma, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with EP Lab experience who are looking to expand their skills in a supportive and fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Overview
The RN EP will work alongside cardiologists and electrophysiology teams to provide care for patients undergoing electrophysiology studies and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical background, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a procedural setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a range of EP procedures including ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants
• Monitor and manage patient care throughout the procedure
• Administer medications and manage sedation as appropriate
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and fellow nursing staff to ensure high-quality care

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington
• Minimum of two years of experience in an Electrophysiology Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Strong understanding of EP equipment, procedures, and protocols
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
