About the Role
We are seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract in a ER Unit in Milford, MA 01757. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential patient care in a behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
✔ While ER patients are often in urgent situations, nurses still provide education on post-care instructions, recovery plans, or follow-up care, depending on the patient's condition.
✔ ER nurses work closely with ER physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals. They are critical in helping to quickly diagnose and treat conditions.
✔Nurses closely monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess patient status continuously, especially for those with unstable conditions like trauma, heart attacks, or strokes.
✔ Nurses in the ER are responsible for accurately documenting patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
✔ Since many ER patients are in distress, providing emotional support to both patients and their families is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted MA RN License.
✅ Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (ER experience preferred).
✅ Current BLS certification.
