About the Role
We are seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract in a NICU Unit in Laveen, AZ, 85339. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential patient care in a behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
✔ ER nurses conduct initial assessments to determine the severity of each patient's condition through triage. They prioritize care based on the seriousness of the symptoms or injuries.
✔ They administer prescribed medications, such as pain relievers, antibiotics, and IV fluids, and monitor for adverse reactions. They also provide treatments for injuries, such as wound care, splints, or burn treatment.
✔ER nurses assist physicians in performing life-saving procedures, such as CPR, intubation, and wound suturing. They are trained to manage airway management, resuscitation, and stabilization of patients in critical conditions.
✔ Continuous monitoring of vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels, is a key responsibility. They are also trained to identify changes in patient conditions and respond quickly to prevent deterioration.
✔ ER nurses work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, communicate patient needs, and make quick decisions about treatment plans.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted AZ RN License.
✅ Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (ER experience preferred).
✅ Current BLS certification.
