Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Turtle Lake, North Dakota. This role is ideal for an experienced ER nurse looking to contribute their expertise in a critical access hospital setting with a strong team and a focus on quality patient care.
Please Note: This is a non-clinical support role. Candidates must meet the radius rule requirement—must reside at least 50 miles outside of Turtle Lake, ND.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care to patients with a wide range of conditions
- Quickly assess and respond to medical emergencies
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and emergency personnel
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures
Required Certifications:
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (North Dakota or compact state)
- Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Room experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
