About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER/ED) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Carrington, ND. This role involves working in a fast-paced emergency setting, providing immediate and life-saving care to patients with urgent medical needs.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
✔ Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions.
✔ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients.
✔ Operate advanced medical equipment and respond to critical emergencies.
✔ Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
✔ Maintain accurate and timely documentation per ER/ED protocols.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active North Dakota RN License or Compact License.
✅ Minimum of 2 years of ER/ED experience.
✅ Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association).
Preferred:
✔ Experience with trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies.
✔ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
