Position Overview:
Seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their Emergency Room (ER) team. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of Experience in Emergency medicine, including Trauma Level 1 care experience, and will be proficient with Cerner charting. Full-Time, 13 Weeks Contract
Shift Details:
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Shift Time: Days (7a-7p)
- 2 hour days, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Required Qualifications:
- License to Submit: Yes, willing to wait
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience
- Trauma Level 1 experience required
- Cerner experience required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the ER setting.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform patient assessments.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including trauma and critical care.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain proficiency in nursing skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.
