About the Role
We are seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract in a Home Health Unit in Williston, ND, 58801. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential patient care in a behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Home health RNs assess the patient's overall health condition, perform physical exams, and review medical histories. They conduct thorough assessments to develop care plans tailored to each patient.
✔ RNs routinely monitor the patient's vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate) and assess the patient’s condition for changes or deterioration. They observe for signs of complications, infections, or other concerns.
✔RNs closely track the progress of patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or COPD. They monitor lab results, manage medications, and adjust care plans accordingly.
✔ Home health RNs administer prescribed medications, which may include oral medications, injections, or IV treatments. They ensure that medications are taken as directed and assess for potential side effects or interactions.
✔ Ns educate patients and their families about medication schedules, proper administration, potential side effects, and any precautions needed to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted ND RN License.
✅ Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (Home Health experience preferred).
✅ Current BLS certification.
