About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU for a 13-week contract in Grass Valley, CA. This position offers the opportunity to provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Provide comprehensive and specialized care to critically ill patients.
✔ Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment.
✔ Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
✔ Respond rapidly to emergency situations and initiate appropriate interventions.
✔ Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-care needs.
✔ Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to ICU protocols.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted California RN license.
✅ Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
✅ Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
Preferred:
✔ Critical Care Certification (CCRN) preferred.
✔ Experience with ventilator management, sepsis protocols, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
✔ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
